《不了情》是一部很“古典”的连续剧，不只是剧名，片中的人际关系更是如此。它包含了一个含辛茹苦养大二子一女的单亲妈妈（林翠饰演），故事从她开始就是剪不断理还乱的感情纠缠，没想到了下一代，两个儿子中的老大（何家劲饰演）和心爱的恶女人（金素梅饰演）有了爱情结晶却没办法结合，出国留学的老二（童安格饰演）回国后基于现实又移情别恋……。这些并不新鲜的人物因为编剧写出了他们和现实之间的矛盾，感情随时间愈形复杂，而产生足以发展为三十集的剧情，并且捧红了男女主角何家劲、金素梅，老牌影星林翠也重新回到幕前发展。
该剧主要讲述四个家境、性格、目标全然不同的大一女生，因寝室奇缺，而被安排进来有着霉气怨气聚集地之称的梅苑438寝室，于是便产生了这系列或惊奇或喜剧或温馨或纠结的校园故事！最终四人建立起深厚友谊并得到了蜕变和成长。

An arrogant detective, Charles Courtney, prides himself on never having committed a single mistake in his long and distinguished career. He keeps a shelf of labeled mementos from each of his cases.
